Enthusiasm in the trade

Hi,


In my experience painting and talking to other painters/construction guys, the enthusiasm is mixed. Some people fell into the trades and do them as a 9 to 5 to pay the bills. Others get really about what they're doing and take pride in their work. 


Out of curiosity, where do you all sit?



Personally, I get very about this trade and especially my long term plan of starting a remodeling business. I really enjoy painting. I find it to be satisfying and rewarding. I take pride in the work I do.
Please help.
